Yaba is a bustling area. It is a vibrant neighborhood with a rich history, and it is known for its bustling streets, commercial centers, and cultural landmarks.
Between the beautiful architecture, the quirky cultural landmarks, and the flawlessly pretty people, I’ve grown to love Yaba for far more than its famous thrift market.
Here are some of the top activities and attractions to check out whenever you find yourself in Yaba, Lagos.
1. The Yaba College of Technology
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) is Nigeria’s first higher institution and one of the country’s best technical institutions.
It is located in the heart of Yaba and boasts a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art facilities. This is a must-see attraction if you’re interested in education, science, and technology.

2. Explore the Yaba Market
Yaba Market is one of the busiest markets in Lagos, and it is a great place to shop for a variety of goods. You’ll find everything from clothes and shoes to food and household items.
